Folks want me to take a summer course, despite their omniworthlessness (I'm getting that copyrighted). So, I was trying to decide what I should do, and it came down to either Spanish or Kendo.

Now, Spanish could help me, but if I could just find a copy of Rosetta Stone in Spanish, I won't need the classes and I'll just test out of that bastard. Kendo, however, is something that I'm pretty good at.

Damn good at, in fact.

I'll get in shape AND get to whoop on someone.

=) I can't wait to tell my folks I'm taking a gym class over the summer.

While I was with Chelsea in Chicago, her mother was accosted by a small black kitten. She came into the house and closed the door, thinking that the kitten was only rubbing against her legs for food and the door would dissuade her.

We were wrong, of course.

The kitten starts meowing loudly at the door, and Chelsea, who'd become enamored with the beast, wouldn't close the door to drive it away. Seeing as how I've only had two good interactions with felines in my life against a lifetime of pain and suffering inflicted by these dark, purring puppeteers, I counciled Chelsea to close the door and pretend it never happened.

Obviously, this leads directly to me and her fetching food for the stray beast.

Eating lustily, the black kitten fills itself with soft cat food and water, meowing with pleasure over it's conquest and giving perfunctory rubs of satisfaction to our legs. We then leave to celebrate Chelsea's day of graduating, thinking that, although our new dark overlord may be gone whence we return, she shall return soon, for that is the way of outside cats; to feed, and vanish into the shadow, like the vampires and demons they call brethren.

We return to a yowling woman hurling challenges and invectives to our new lord and master, and I council that now is the time to flee, while this strange champion is locked in conflict with She-Who-Was-A-Stray-And-Lacked-A-Name.

Which, logically, leads to us bringing the kitten clothed in shadow into the house.

Fearing that Chelsea's cat would find this act to be treasonous, we hid our shadowy master in the bathroom. Bringing to her a feast, she gorged herself and enjoyed her new refuge. As I watched her, I found myself falling...Falling...Falling...As though in a tran...

AWWW!

She's so cute! I couldn't help but rub her! She purred and jumped into my lap, and it was a little bit scary, but she's just being a nice kitten! She nuzzled my face and it was great. Unfortunately, someone, probably that crazy woman, called Animal Control and the kitten had to go to the pound. Before she left, I named her Panthro, though, since it just seemed to fit.

But now that the pound has checked her out and knows that she's all fit and not disease-filled and pregnant, I can have her! Chelsea's gonna bring her when she comes in July!

...

And I will welcome my new, dark overlord, Panthro the kitten.

I found a dude on Facebook selling a 360 for 325 bucks. It's the premium one with the wireless controllers and HD.

I want to buy this, but first, I don't have the cash flow right now to do it, and I also can't use the Xbox Live thing, which is lame.

God dammit. I just want a 360. Me and Chi are working on getting Brunswick Zone tickets but it's looking like it'll be cheaper to just buy a 360 than win it off those tickets.

Sigh.
